So i read couple of guides about disc rogue including your guide most guides suggest a shadowstep spec with pve gear and just kill the healer vs most teams . So i was wondering if you need pve gear to play 2.2 k plus with a combat spec. I know you can get 2.2k but i mean if you can get 2,2k with equal skill without being in a major disadvantage. i also want to know if you can play spriest rogue with pvp gear(the rogue) 2.2k plus without being in a major disavantage to most teams. So short can you play on top with only pvp gear because if u check the armory and shit they all have pve gear.
edit: which combo is stronger spries or discpriest rogue

Absolutely, I have never used a single piece of PvE gear while playing combat spec. Quite honestly, I think you'd want more PvE gear if you were shadowstep, since it gains much more from the additional agility and attack power.
You will be fine with your standard pvp gear, just socket and gem offensively to give your arena and pvp honor gear that extra push.
